Things to put in my Baby Photo Book

Most parents want to fill up a baby photo book. Sometimes it's hard to know what pictures to put into the baby photo book to make it more interesting. A great baby photo book is often filled with pictures that tell a story.

Some parents like to capture the story of the pregnancy, looking for ways to celebrate the coming birth and including pictures from the baby shower and maybe some of the special, small, gifts that they received

Baby's first picture is a key part of the baby photo book. You may want to capture yourselves leaving the hospital or some of the more adventurous could include some of the birth photographs

Once baby is home there will be plenty of fun photo opportunities. Parents should strive to take at least one picture each month in the first year. Looking back, they will be amazed on how fast baby has changed.

A really nice way to make your monthly pictures stand out is to add something for comparison, I suggest a special outfit that they only wear for these photographs. So as they grow, you can see them gradually out growing the outfit

Monthly pictures can also be enhanced by including baby's height and weight statistics. Parents should also jot down what baby is doing that month. Rolling over, sitting up and walking are all stages that can be noted.

Parents shouldn't limit themselves to just pictures of the baby though. Pictures of the house, nursery, pets and family will give baby a way to look over their history when they grow up. Parents can include pictures of other family members as a way to build a pictorial family history.

You are going to take a lot of pictures during your baby's first year. Make your baby photo book unique by adding some special pictures to the book and give yourself a way to hold onto some memories for ever.
