Karva Chauth is the day for fasting which has become larger and the celebrations far more elaborate with every passing day. Though the Halwais, the Mehendi & Churiwallis have usually been busy on this auspicious day. But becoming a member of the bandwagon in modern occasions are the attractiveness parlour owners, the celebration managers and the restaurant proprietors.

The various clubs organized the specific activities on this day, with so considerably feasting and fun added to it and this one is the greater fasting situation.

On this day women gets up before sunrise. They worship Shiva, Parvati & the moon. God's blessings give blessings for the longevity of their husbands and thier kids. Mothers-in-regulation givemeals referred to as 'Sargi' to thier daughter-in-law to consume just before sunrise, as the fast begins before sunrise and stops only right after worshiping the moon at night.

The females sit close to this picture with their bayas. Every girl is areas a pitcher with entire of h2o and 7 items in front of her. It is decorate with a small roli, kharia and aipun. Karva Chauth is the festival espesially for married womans. A red thread called moli is tied all around the karva. At the commencing of the puja, females use roli teeka to Maa Gauri & also to on their own,with the 3rd finger of the proper hand.

An elderly female of the family tells the story of Karva Chauth. The females then pray for the welfare and longevityof their husbands. Whilst chanting the prayers, they will move their bayas from a single to another. The wait for the mooncommences after the sunset, & as soon as the moon rised, the prayers are provided to the moon.

The fasting girls initial observe the moon through a sieve & then break their quick. The first sip of h2o and the first morsel of foods is to be provided by the husband. This is adopted by a big feast for all.
