I shared it with a friend, and we both love how it seems to run smoothly and catches everything. Ten years ago, Norton was abysmal software. However, they've come a long way since then.
Once installed, it just slips into the background and does its work. It's inconspicuous. The only part of Norton IS that I didn't like was the anti-spam filter for e-mail. I didn't like how it would automatically target spam and put it in my OUTLOOK junk email folder. Using Norton for my system security for several years now, really appreciate the ability to use the same software in 3 systems. Got to be a real drag when I had to pay for each system and then for the updates as well.
I feel like my computer is very safe with it. It's very user friendly.
Runs so much lighter and finds more threats. Most days I forget I even installed it because it's effect on performance is so minimal. Just slide the Disc in and follow the instruction. A good example of this is that when using the Password (identity) Safe. The 360 system takes a long time to fill in the username and password.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who is concerned about keeping their computer safe and secure. Since I've had the Norton Products installed on my PC peace of mind is the name of the game, since I know my system is protected at all times. Once set up almost no interaction is required. Best of all though, Norton runs quietly in the background using very little in the way of my computers resources. Whatever you do, do not install McAfee, at least not this year's version. I usually find the best price here (about half of what Norton/Symantec charges for a renewal!), plus it's nice to have a physical disc to use when installing NIS to 3 PCs.
It is often cheaper simply to buy a new license (in a 50% off sale) than it is to renew the subscription. I have been using Norton Antivirus and then Norton Internet Security for as long as I can recall.
I certainly would recommend it. I love Norton Security.
